Laboratorios Senosiain: from wholesaler data to a report that builds itself.

The company

A Mexican pharmaceutical laboratory with around 1,200 field reps.

How it started

In June 2022, from the inside: as part of the laboratory's own team, first in sales and data, then in CRM and finally leading business intelligence. Commercial information came in from wholesalers, market audits and internal systems, each in its own format, and the executive report was assembled by hand.

What we built, stage by stage

  1. Clean data

A standardization process for the wholesalers' inventory data. Data-load errors dropped by about 95%.

  2. Analytical CRM

Customers, products, territories and the sales force in a single database.

  3. Business intelligence

The executive report moved to a central data model: from eight hours of preparation to thirty minutes.

  4. Market intelligence

Seventeen integrated sources and sixteen executive dashboards on market share and competition.

  5. From the outside

In November 2023 the employment chapter ended, and Senosiain kept working with us as outside consultants.

  6. The monthly report, reviewed and automated

The market report management receives every month used to be assembled by hand, with figures copied from one program to another until they reached the final document. In 2026 we improved it in four steps:

    • Review. AI agents compared the delivered report with the source data and with the calculation model, figure by figure. Every discrepancy was documented with its evidence: columns labeled with the wrong period, tables damaged by copy and paste, metrics that didn't measure what their names said.
    • Redesign. With those findings we rebuilt the report: which question each page answers, and with which figure.
    • Build. The agents wrote the process that generates the report, with automated tests for every part. We defined the rules, reviewed what they wrote and approved every step.
    • Verify. Before it went into use, the new report was reconciled to the last decimal against the most recent report delivered. Today, every month, the process loads the data, validates it, flags anything that doesn't add up and produces the document.

How they work today

Executive management, the commercial team, and divisional and regional managers all work from the same information, with the same calculation rules. The monthly report arrives already reviewed.
