Baseline
Know where the time goes before you spend money fixing it.
A fixed-scope diagnostic that measures how your company works today. When it's done, you have a snapshot in numbers of your processes, your data and your tools, plus a ranked list of what's worth changing first.
It's for you if any of these sound familiar.
- Your team spends hours every week entering, gathering or fixing data.
- Management reports are built by hand and arrive after the decision has been made.
- You're about to invest in a system and want to know what you need before you buy it.
- You have an online store and aren't sure what sells, what doesn't, or why.
- You've already digitized something and don't see the difference in the numbers.
We measure what your company actually uses.
We agree on the scope before we start, based on how your company works. These are the areas we usually review:
- Processes. Who does what, how long it takes and where work gets repeated.
- Data. Where it comes from, how many times it's entered and whether it matches across departments.
- Tools. What gets used, what gets paid for and never used, and what's missing.
- Reports and decisions. What management asks, and what information it answers with.
- Online store, if you have one. Catalog, analytics, technical health and search visibility.
The Baseline report.
A document you can read in one sitting and present to your team. It includes:
- An executive summary of what's costing you the most time or money.
- Every finding with its evidence: what we saw, where, and how you can check it yourself.
- The impact in hours or money, wherever it can be calculated.
- A priority order and what we'd do first, with an estimate of the scope.
A real finding
In one online store, more than half of the active catalog wasn't linked from any section. Those products existed, but nobody could reach them by browsing.
The report is yours. If you decide to build with another team, it works just as well.
Step by step.
- A first conversation, at no cost.We reply within 24 hours to schedule it. We talk about where your company stands today and how to approach it without disrupting what already works.
- Proposal.Within the next 48 hours we send you what we'd measure, how long it would take and what it would cost. If it works for you, you give us read-only access to whatever we need.
- Measurement. We review processes, data and tools, and talk to the people who use them, within the timeline set in the proposal.
- Second review. We check every finding again. If we can't see it again with our own eyes, it doesn't go in the report.
- Delivery. We present the report to you and to anyone you choose.
What happened at La Tulip.
In 2026 we went through the online store of La Tulip, a B2B e-commerce business in Spain, from top to bottom and logged 52 findings. Before delivering, we walked the whole store again the way a customer uses it. Ten conclusions didn't hold up. We took them out, including the one the report led with.
It would have been easy to leave them in: nobody was going to check. But a report that exaggerates leads you to invest in the wrong place, and you're the one who pays for that mistake. Since then, the second review has been a fixed step in every Baseline.
Measure again, to see the change.
If you decide to build with us, we repeat the measurement with the same method when we're done. That way you see in numbers what changed: hours, errors, response times. That second measurement is also the starting point for whatever comes next.
Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost?
It depends on the project. After the first call we send you a proposal with a fixed price, so you know what you're paying before we start.
How long does it take?
That depends on the scope too. The timeline comes in the proposal, along with the price. You'll hear back on your first email within 24 hours, and the proposal arrives 48 hours after the call.
Do you need access to my systems?
Read-only, and only to what we agree on. We don't change anything, we don't install anything and we don't move any data.
What happens to my data?
We anonymize it from day one and keep only what the diagnostic needs. The report contains no names or personal data about your customers.
Do I have to stop operations?
No. Your current process keeps running while we change it. We split the work into short stages and move at the pace your team adapts to each change.
What if you don't find anything important?
We'll tell you. Knowing that a process works well is useful too, and it keeps you from spending money to change it.
Do you work with companies my size?
We've worked with teams of three and with companies of more than a thousand people. The scope adjusts to the company.
Do you work in my country?
Yes, in Mexico and in Spain, with offices in Mexico City and Madrid. We work both remotely and in person, depending on what each project needs.
Do I have to hire you for the build afterward?
No. The report is yours, and you can take it to anyone you like.
